Review the process before you start
VPNWC is straightforward to set up. Create an account and choose a plan, then copy the subscription link assigned to your account from the user panel and import it into the client. Once the client reads the subscription, it will show the available routes; choose a region and connect. Do not skip the user panel to look for public download links, and do not copy unfamiliar configurations from page content. Get both the client and subscription details from your account.
Before you begin, decide which platform you will mainly use. VPNWC supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. This page focuses on common workflows for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. There is no device limit, so you can configure the same account on multiple personal devices. However, the subscription link is part of your account credentials and should not be published or shared with unrelated people.
This page covers only the main path needed for your first connection. After the basic setup, you can read the Protocol and Route Technical Reference for details on protocol differences, direct versus relayed routes, and mobile resource usage. If you encounter a page error, a subscription that will not update, or an app that does not use the route, finish the current step first, then troubleshoot by symptom on the Support page.
Create an account and enter the panel
Open the VPNWC account creation page, enter a username you plan to use long term, and set a password that you do not reuse on other websites. VPNWC does not require an email address; your username and password are the main credentials for entering the user panel. Check that the username is easy to recognize and that you have stored the password securely before submitting the form.
After a successful submission, the page will take you to the user panel. Check that the account area shows the username you just set, then confirm that you can see entries for plans, account overview, and client downloads. These indicate that the account is ready to use. Do not rush to copy the subscription yet: until a plan is activated, the panel may not provide usable routes.
If the page says the username is already in use, choose a memorable name that is not associated with another account. If you remain on the same page after submitting, read the specific message beside the form, correct the indicated field, and submit again. Repeatedly refreshing usually will not fix an input error and may erase what you just entered. More login and account issues are covered on the Support page; password recovery and other account management tasks are outside the scope of this guide.
You can enter the user panel and see the plan and account overview entries.
Choose a plan and place your order
On the Plans page in the user panel, choose a monthly subscription based on your expected monthly usage. The light monthly plan is ¥9.9/month with 60GB; the standard monthly plan is ¥18/month with 250GB; and the higher-usage monthly plan is ¥28/month with 500GB. Monthly data resets each month on the activation date, rather than being cleared for everyone on the first day of the calendar month.
For first-time use, estimate your data needs from your everyday activities. Occasional research, web services, and text work usually fit the basic tier; frequent streaming, large file transfers, or continuous connections on multiple devices require more headroom. You do not need to choose a plan by protocol name. Protocols and routes are selected in the client, while the plan page handles data allowance and activation status.
After confirming the plan, open the order page and check the plan name, monthly allowance, and amount due. Then choose Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT to complete payment. Return to the user panel and wait for the order status to show as active. If payment is complete but the panel still shows pending, do not create duplicate orders. Check the original order in your order history, then consult the Support page for payment-status guidance.
If your usage varies, you can also review the data packages on the Plans page. Data packages remain available until used and never expire, with three options: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Monthly subscriptions and data packages are calculated differently, so decide whether you need data restored monthly or prefer long-term use by total allowance. When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days.
The user panel shows an active plan, so the account can now retrieve a route subscription.
Get your subscription link from the user panel
Once the plan is active, open Account Overview in the user panel. Find the subscription section, where you will see an option such as Copy Subscription or Import into Client. Click Copy to place the complete subscription link on the clipboard. Paste this link into the client; do not edit its characters or convert it to another protocol format.
Subscription links are usually long, so it is difficult to tell by sight whether one was copied completely. You can paste it into a temporary local text field to check the beginning and end, but do not submit the real link to a search engine, online URL shortener, or public chat. The address below is only a format example. It does not belong to any VPNWC account and cannot be used to connect:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If the subscription entry is temporarily missing from the panel, return to your order history to confirm that the plan is active, then refresh Account Overview. If the plan is active but the Copy button is still unavailable, keep the status information from the order page and contact Support through the user panel’s ticket entry. Do not assemble a subscription address yourself or replace yours with a link from another user.
After copying, keep the user panel open for now. Once the client has been imported for the first time, you may need to return here to copy the link again or open the client download page for the relevant platform. VPNWC does not place static installer links in the guide content. Client access is provided through the user panel so account status, subscriptions, and client entry points stay aligned.
The complete subscription link is on the clipboard. You can now open the client for the relevant platform.
Import the subscription into clients on each platform
Open the relevant platform entry in the Client Downloads section of the user panel. Install and launch the client, then look for Subscription Management, Add Configuration, or Import from Link. Wording varies by platform, but the workflow is the same: create a subscription entry, paste the link you copied, save it, and update it. After a successful update, the main screen will show a region-based route list.
If the client asks for a subscription name, use “VPNWC” or another name that is easy to recognize. The name is displayed only on that device and does not change the account or plan. Paste the complete link into the subscription address field without adding spaces before or after it. After saving, run an update rather than leaving an empty subscription entry.
Import on Windows
Open the Windows client entry in the user panel and obtain the VPNWC client as directed on the page. In the client, open Subscription Management, paste the link into the Add Subscription form, and save it. Return to the main screen and update the subscription. Confirm that routes such as Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Los Angeles, Sydney, or Frankfurt appear in the list, then choose the region you plan to use.
Windows clients usually provide a connection control in the main window or system tray. For first-time use, keep automatic route selection enabled rather than changing several protocol options at once. If the route list updates normally, the subscription import is complete. The next step is to connect and check your exit IP.
Import on macOS
Open the macOS client entry from the user panel, then install and launch the client. If macOS asks you to approve network configuration access, read the system prompt and authorize it through the normal process. Open the client’s subscription or configuration page, choose Import from Link, paste the subscription address, save it, and run an update.
After updating, check the route list in the menu bar or client window. If you can see region names and select one, the import is working. On macOS, a client that closes its window while leaving a menu bar icon is commonly running in the background. To disconnect, explicitly choose Disconnect from the menu bar icon or the client rather than only closing the window.
Import on Android
In the browser on your Android device, sign in to the user panel, open Client Downloads, and choose Android. After installation, open the VPNWC client, go to Subscription Management or Configuration Management, tap Add, and choose Import via Link. Paste the subscription address, save it, and update it. Wait for the route list to finish loading.
The first time you tap Connect, Android will show a system authorization dialog for the network connection. Confirm it, and a system connection indicator will appear in the status bar. If the connection drops after switching networks, return to the client and reconnect rather than deleting the subscription. Only check whether the link was copied completely or retrieve it again from the user panel if the route list cannot update.
Import on iOS
On your iPhone or iPad, open the user panel and follow the iOS client entry to the relevant download method. Launch the client, find Add Subscription, Import from URL, or a similar entry, then paste and confirm the subscription link. Return to the routes page, run an update, wait for the region list to appear, and select a route.
During the first connection, iOS will show a system configuration confirmation dialog. Follow the system instructions to authorize it, then return to the client and connect. If the client shows a connected state but an app still displays an earlier network result, fully close and reopen that app before checking your exit IP in the next section. Reinstalling the client is unnecessary.
The client displays available routes, and both the subscription name and region list load normally.
Connect to a route and verify that it works
Choose a route that is relatively close or matches the region of the service you want to access, then click Connect. When the client shows “Connected,” do not rely on the status text alone. Check the actual network exit: open an IP lookup page in your browser, refresh it, and see whether the exit region matches the route you selected. A matching region indicates that browser traffic is using the selected route.
Next, open the app or website you normally use and confirm that it loads correctly. If the browser check succeeds but an app still shows the previous region, fully exit and reopen the app. Some apps retain an earlier session or cached result, so switching in the background may not update it immediately. If the client supports per-app settings, check that the app is included in the current connection rules.
For your first connection, keep the default protocol and automatic route selection. Once the target service opens reliably, adjust the route based on your needs. Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore are usually good regions to test first for cross-border access; for region-specific content, choose a route matching the content’s region. Avoid switching rapidly between multiple routes, as this mixes browser sessions with client state and makes troubleshooting harder.
After verification, repeat the process on your other personal devices: get the client, import the subscription, select a route, and check the exit. VPNWC has no device limit, but each device should obtain the correct subscription from the same account panel. You do not need to copy internal client files between devices; use the subscription entry associated with the account.
The client clearly shows Connected, and the current route name matches the region you selected.
The browser’s reported exit region matches the selected route rather than the network region from before the connection.
The target app loads normally after being reopened, and per-app settings have not excluded it.
Common first-use issues
What should I do if no routes appear after importing the subscription?
First confirm that the plan is active, then return to the user panel and copy the complete subscription link again. Delete the blank entry created by the failed import, create the subscription again, and update it. Do not edit the link manually.
What if the client shows Connected but the exit region has not changed?
Disconnect, switch to another route, and reconnect, then refresh the IP lookup page. If the browser still shows the old result, close and reopen it, and check whether the client’s system proxy or network connection is enabled.
What if one route cannot open the target service?
Switch to another route in the same region and reopen the target service. Routes may use different paths and suit different scenarios, so the result from one route does not represent the entire region. See the Protocol Reference if you need to understand route types in more detail.
Do I need to place another order when I change devices?
No. VPNWC supports unlimited devices. On the new device, enter the user panel, get the client for the relevant platform, and import the subscription from the same account.
When does monthly subscription data reset?
Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date. Refer to the user panel for the status of your specific account. Data packages remain available until used and never expire.
